EKE was established in June 2012 and had successfully developed our original prototype industrial robot in October.
A new prototype was completed in March 2013 with its trial held at the customer’s site.
We concentrated on research and development in 2014. By completing our first delta robot, we officially released it at the China International Robot Exhibition. Then the original delta robot proceeded to large-scale production.
In 2015, we possessed a new plant, established our Shanghai subsidiary, and completed a pre-A round of financing. At the same time, we received extensive attention from reputable companies during a tech exhibition.
We are committed to building a renowned domestic robotics automation brand while advancing the modernization process of China’s national industry.
In 2017, we were recognized by customers home and abroad. In September, the number of mass production orders reached 100 million RMB while the B round of financing was completed.
In April 2018, we were selected as the Hurun Report’s “2018 China’s Top 100 Most Valuable New Star Enterprises for Investment”; in July, we moved our factory to a new area of 7000 square meters. Meanwhile, we were selected as one of the top 100 innovation investment enterprises in the National High-Tech Zone.
Our annual turnover reached 200 million RMB this year. We became a key introduction company of Xiaoshan Robot Town. We completed a signing ceremony with 7 other well-known domestic and foreign companies this year. We also completed a billion B+ round of financing in 2019.
At the beginning of 2020, EKE automated the production of mask machines to help fend off the Covid-19 pandemic. We also established strategic cooperation with the international logistics giant GLP to build a robot industrial park covering an area of 148 acres in the Jinan Lingang Aviation Economic Cooperation Zone this year.
