Background

This pharmaceuticals is one of the biggest company in China. They want to automate because of the production efficiency and the high labor cost.

Challenges

1. The disorganized sachets infeeding status hard for the robot to pick one by one.
2. The reflow quantity is too big.

Solutions

1. Use 3D vision system to identify the stacked infeeding sachets to ensure the accuracy of the robot picking and placing.
2. Slow down the conveyor conveying speed, to reduce the reflow quantity.

Result

One machine replaced 10 labors per shift (3 shifts).
